Through our partnership with ONR, Inc., our patients have access to trained, licensed occupational therapists that can help them overcome their physical or neurological limitations by teaching them new ways to manage daily tasks and showing them safe and effective techniques to compensate for losses in strength, cognition, endurance, vision, sensation, coordination, and balance.
ONR occupational therapists can also provide comprehensive home evaluations, recommendations and training on the use of adaptive equipment, splits to help prevent deformity and improve function, as well as training for family members to assist in the patient’s care.
Speech-language pathology helps resolve issues related to verbal and cognitive communication, as well as issues affecting a patient’s ability to swallow properly.
